Imran has stayed at Mani’s for the night. Mani explains to Vinnie that Imran has just returned from Pakistan and it was no holiday. He went to get over his breakup with his girlfriend. Vinnie is shocked to learn that the girlfriend was Jas.
Simran tells Pete her mum wants to do a Lohri for Kesar and explains it’s like a christening. Jas jogs up to them and Pete heads off after a quick chat. Simran says she is off to see Jodie but Jas warns her she might be feeling delicate after their night out. Jas tells her about Vinnie and Simran advises her to put him straight before things get worse.
Mani suggests a walk after breakfast might do Imran good but Imran says he needs to do something and it has waited too long already. He tells Mani about Mickey’s murder and says he is going to the police. Mani offers to go with him later when Imran has thought about it some more. They bump into Gary who riddles Imran and Mani suggests they ignore him.
Elsewhere Jas is telling Vinnie she isn’t ready for a relationship and besides he isn’t her type. Vinnie reckons he is more her type than Imran, he isn’t even good looking. Jas wonders how Vinnie can say that when he has never seen Imran but Vinnie says he met him this morning.
Simran tells Jas she can’t risk all the family being together for Lohri in case they find out about her relationship with Pete. She has the perfect excuse for getting out of it though. Life is complicated when your family doesn’t approve of your boyfriend and this is something Jas knows only too well.
Elsewhere Mani discovers Imran has disappeared despite the fact that Vinnie was told to keep an eye on him. Vinnie points out he isn’t Imran’s babysitter but Mani says he doesn’t understand. Imran is in serious trouble and it’s about to get a lot worse……….
