Have your say
Shazia is fed up of visiting houses at Eid and things get worse when Wahid wants to stop over at the Jilani residence.
Pradeep is struggling to drag the goat away from his plants and shouts at Arun for bringing the goat home in the first place. Its not Arun’s fault the goat followed him home, besides it was Krishan feeding it Shredded Wheat. The goat bleats and frightens Pradeep, Arun can’t stop laughing.
Wahid comments on how beautiful Mushtaq’s house. He’s not seen Rozena and Sameer much but they must be so proud of them. He also asks when Imran will be back but Zenab quickly changes the subject and offers to give him a tour of the house.
Arun visits Sean at the barge to show him photos of the goat on his phone but Sean’s not interested, he’s still in a mood about Arun not telling him his mum was staying at theirs. Arun wants them to bury the hatchet; he doesn’t want them starting 2007 on a bad note.
Shazia wants Mushtaq to know that the visit wasn’t her idea that. They need to face reality and be practical, he won’t leave Zenab. Mushtaq explains that he can leave her but he can’t leave his family, not with Rozena’s marriage in a mess and Imran being directionless, they depend on him. Shazia says she’s learnt that sometimes timing is just not right and they have to accept that. She accidentally pours hot water on her hand which Mushtaq tries to soothe but she won’t let him, he has to let go.
At Saffron Rays, Kuljit is confused about the reservations at Saffron Rays as Vinnie is just letting people in. Jas and Rachel get chatting there and Jas is green with envy that Nadia and Sway are having a cosy night in whilst she’s the singleton with the mad stalker. Rachel isn’t exactly pleased, her idea of celebrating New Year is not sitting in a curry house but nevertheless, they both chink glasses to the New Year.
