Arun teases Krishan about his ill-gotten gains. He reckons Krishan’s been done when he sees some Pakistani Rupees amongst the cash. Mindy warns Krishan about taking money from strangers, she’s seen a dodgy character hanging around the Parkside Centre. Arun and Mindy leave Krishan counting his pennies and head for Imran’s house for some privacy.
Arun tries to unlock the door but it seems to be locked from the inside. Mindy suggests going back to Arun’s but he’s got loving on his mind and is determined to find a way in. He pulls Mindy round the back but they get a fright when they see a light on upstairs. Thinking it’s Rozena or Zenab they duck down out of sight. Mindy feels someone licking her neck in the dark, and they don’t smell too good! She tells Arun to leave her alone but it’s not Arun. Just then they hear a goat bleating. Mindy cries out in disgust when she realises what’s been licking her neck!
Khatija moans to Zak about the animal rights attack on the slaughterhouse. They released all the animals and now there won’t be enough meat for Eid celebrations. She forgets all about that though when Zak tells her he’s just seen Nadia. Khatija is overjoyed thinking Nadia is home for Eid. When Nadia does turn up with Eid presents for everyone Khatija tries to be on best behaviour. Nadia is still angry with her though for threatening Kamal. Khatija pretends that Nadia has it all wrong, Kamal must have twisted things.
Nadia has mixed feelings about the visit she tells Sway later. On one hand they’re not screaming at each other anymore, on the other she can still see the disappointment in her mum’s eyes. Sway reckons it might only be a small step but at least it’s in the right direction!
