Arun sorts through his records in preparation for a Xmas gig. It’s not his usual crowd, just a bunch of school kids at the Parkside Centre. Roopa will be going so Arun offers to walk her there. Roopa turns him down though, that would be just too embarrassing!
Nadia is in search of someone to talk to and finds Jas at the centre, decorating the hall. Nadia confides in Jas that she slept with Sway last night. Jas tries unsuccessfully to hide her surprise that this was their first time. Nadia tells her how special it was and how close she felt to Sway, but she can’t help feeling that she’s done something wrong. Jas reassures her she’s got nothing to feel guilty about, it’s not like it’s a passing fling.
Later at the gig Roopa, Bina and Mindy catch a boy from the school play eyeing Roopa up. Mindy advises Roopa to play hard to get. Arun comes over, but he’s soon called away by Jas. She’s seen Gary outside selling alcohol to some of the kids. It turns into a scuffle but Arun gets rid of Gary quite easily as he was too drunk to land a punch.
Rita and Siobhan watch the partygoers from a distance and reminisce about their teenage years. Siobhan shocks Rita telling her how she lost her virginity, far too young, in the park.
Kamal turns up at the centre looking for Nadia. He’s upset over a row with Nadia’s parents. When he refused to spy on Nadia for them Khatija threatened to report him to the authorities for working illegally. Nadia can’t believe how unfair her parents are being and tells Kamal not to worry, she’ll sort this out once and for all as soon as she gets back from London.
