The Chauhans return from visiting Uncle Rajan in Leicester. Kamla is annoyed that Rajan made out he was really ill when he obviously wasn’t. She reckons he did it to ruin her birthday. Pradeep offers to make tea and Rita checks the answer phone. She is shocked to discover messages from Siobhan who she hasn’t seen or heard from in over twenty years. Rita plays the messages to Pradeep but he warns her not to get involved.
Mushtaq collects Zenab from the airport and is disappointed to find her alone. Zenab explains Imran couldn’t come back due to business commitments. Mushtaq reckons he should be here for Rozena. Mushtaq reckons Rozena and Sameer’s split is his and Zenab’s fault. What sort of example have they set their daughter?
Rozena tells her mum how Sameer found out about what happened with Imran and Mickey. Sameer then started smothering her but she needed to deal with things alone. Zenab promises that from now on she will always be here. Later, Zenab moves in despite Rozena’s protests that Imran needs his mum more than she does. Zenab says Imran is fine, their servant Mubarak is taking care of him and besides Imran is a lot better now.
Kamla tells Rita there is a call for her. It turns out to be Siobhan and once Rita gets over her shock she fills Siobhan in on what’s been happening in Sean’s life. Siobhan is shocked to learn that Sean was in a Young Offenders Unit and says she has to see him. Rita suggests she come here first so Siobhan says she’ll come tonight.
Rita calls Pradeep to warn him they have a house guest. Pradeep can’t believe Rita is getting involved after what he said and besides what if Siobhan is still on drugs? What is she exposes their kids to it? Rita promises him it’ll be fine but Pradeep remains unconvinced…..
