Arun suggests taking Mindy to a gig to unwind. They kiss but are quickly pull apart when Kamla walks in. Mindy asks how she is in Gujerati whilst Arun makes a sharp exit. Kamla is impressed that she can speak Gujerati. Mindy comments on the lovely sari she’s got on and says that she’s very trim. Kamla is flattered and giggles happily, she reckons they will get on famously.
Kuljit is on the phone to Neera and Rajvinder has admitted to her that she can’t cope. Neera arranges to meet at the Gurdwara, they can talk to Amrit there.
At the restaurant, Sanjay is demanding his wages from Vinnie and if he doesn’t get them by the end of the day, he’ll see Mani. Then there is a bang in the kitchen and the ovens have blown up.
At the Gurdwara, Amrit refuses to speak to an upset Kuljit. Neera talks to Amrit alone who says he feels like a stranger at Rajvinders. Neera suggests he stay with her.
Vinnie is trying to get someone out to fix the ovens but he doesn’t seem to be having much luck. He suggests they could go to the posh deli and heat the naans in the microwave, Mani won’t know. He then goes to borrow Mary’s microwave who asks him where he was when the men came to fix the ovens, his priorities are all wrong. She tells him she’ll sort the wages, he best fix the ovens immediately. Later Mani walks in to the smell of smoke and new ovens being installed. Vinnie says they are all covered by the guarantee. Mani is impressed.
