Arun is delighted Mindy is still working at the Parkside to cover Sway’s absence. Rita and Jas spy on them from over the road. Rita wants to know if he’s confided in Jas about her but Jas doesn’t seem bothered. Rita hopes he is being careful but Arun having sex, is not something Jas wants to think about.
Mindy seems to be dealing with Sway’s work fine until she gets a visit from Kamla who demands to know where Sway is. Mindy explains that he’s away so Kamla assumes he’s been pushed out. Kamla reckons Mindy doesn’t look old enough to be running the place and then huffs and puffs once Mindy explains who she is and what she is doing there. Kamla has arrived to volunteer for the elderly luncheon club but the room is filthy as the mother and toddlers group have finished in there. She wants Mindy to get off the phone and help her clear it up immediately. Sway has only been gone 2 days and the place is falling apart already.
Kuljit asks Rajvinder how his dad has been and whether he’s been eating properly. Rajvinder sarcastically says that he’s been eating fine and he has his own room so he can come and go as he pleases. Kuljit notices she appears to be tense and then heads up to see Amrit who has locked himself in his room deliberately knowing that Kuljit was coming.
Arun massages a tense Mindy’s shoulders who explains that she’s had a run in with the battleaxe from hell who was ordering her to do this and that. She was so demanding and so rude. Arun tells Mindy that’ll be his gran then.
An upset Kuljit rings Neera telling her that Rajvinder has poisoned Amrit against him, he wouldn’t even talk to him and she looked tired. What will happen when she gets tired of him and wants to throw him out again. What will that do to his dad?
