Have your say
Jas and Nadia are on the bus to their wedding booking, chatting about Nadia and Sway’s trip to London the following day. Nadia’s looking forward to it, but she’s still really missing her family. She’s distraught that Zak has told her to stay away, she needs to know what’s going on. Jas reluctantly tells her about Arun’s black eye.
Meanwhile at the Akhtars Pervaiz and Zak are arguing. Pervais can’t believe what his son has become, and Zak is still blaming it all on Nadia. He still doesn’t want her back in their lives, and Pervais walks out in despair. He goes to see Sway to tell him to persuade Nadia to come home. Sway tries to tell him that he’s not taking Nadia away from him, but he loves her.
At the Gurdwara Amrit is having his re-baptism. Kuljit and Rajvinder are left alone to talk. Rajvinder welcomes this, saying they can really get to know each other but Kuljit isn’t so sure. Later over the celebration meal Rajvinder suggests he call off the investigation, but Kuljit says no, it must go ahead. Rajvinder is irritated that her efforts with Kuljit have gone to waste, and says that his father won’t be pleased when he finds out. Kuljit says he’ll understand and he’ll tell him when the time’s right. Rajvinder announces to Amrit that she’s leaving at once. Amrit is puzzled, so Rajvinder tells him about the investigation. She shows Amrit the letter from the court of protection and says that Kuljit is prepared for her to go to jail. Kuljit asks if he can explain properly upstairs. His father refuses and is angry with Kuljit for treating his aunt in this way. He won’t listen to his side of the story, and wants Rajvinder to take him back to London with her. She’s horrified and tries to backpedal but Amrit’s mind is made up.
