Nadia gets a wedding booking and is disappointed as it will probably mean her and Sway missing their trip to London. Sway tells her she should go for it, they can go later and it’s just what she needs to cheer her up.
Rita’s worried about Roopa who’s come in from school and gone to her room. Jas says she’s alright, but Rita doesn’t believe her, so Jas tells her Roopa’s involved in the school Christmas play. Rita thinks that maybe they should suggest drama therapy. Kamla overhears and wants to be involved, but Rita tells her that she and Pradeep should handle it. Kamla takes offence and goes out. Jas goes after her, and asks her what’s wrong. Kamla says she feels left out, it’s all going on without her. She wants to help Roopa too. Jas explains that no-one’s leaving her out, it’s just that Rita and Pradeep need to do what they think is best. She suggests Kamla goes back to being a volunteer, maybe at the Parkside Centre. She persuades her to go along and help find people that she can use for her placement research.
Meanwhile Rita tries to talk to Roopa, who isn’t happy that she’s found out about the school play. But Rita says she’s pleased about it and suggests the drama therapy. Roopa isn’t interested and just wants to be left alone. Rita backs off.
At the Parkside Centre Kamla overhears Nadia and Jas talking about the wedding and thinks her and Sway are getting married. Jas convince’s her it’s not true. Kamla is relieved and says that Pervaiz doesn’t need that in his current state, letting slip about his collapse.
Later Nadia’s crying, and Sway’s comforting her. She calls Zak and gets a cold reception. He blames her, saying it’s best if she doesn’t call any more. He cuts her off, leaving her even more upset.
