Rozena and Mushtaq are talking about Pervaiz. Mushtaq thinks he’s made the problem with Nadia too public by throwing her things out on the street. He’s thankful that he’s not having to deal with such situations himself. The only difficulty he has is choosing a present for Imran. He notices that Rozena seems uptight; she says she’s fine, but when he asks about Sameer she makes a hasty exit. When she’s gone Mushtaq calls Shazia, who asks when he’s going to tell his wife about them. He hedges, and Shazia points out that the current situation is unfair on her and hangs up.
Pervaiz goes to see his doctor, who prescribes sleeping tablets but really wants to get to the bottom of what’s troubling him. So Pervaiz tells him about throwing Nadia’s clothes out, and the situation with Sway, and how he really misses Nadia.
Meanwhile Rozena is having lunch with Brian, telling him about Mushtaq’s quest for a ‘perfect’ present for his ‘perfect’ son. She thinks that if he knew the truth about her and Imran he’d be broken.
Mushtaq goes to see Pervaiz and sympathizes with his situation. He feels lucky that his Rozena is settled with a good man. He tells Pervaiz to try not to lose touch with Nadia and leaves him to rest. On his way home Shazia calls him and is cold and distant. She says she’s not going to see him until he tells Zenab about them. She’s angry and feels manipulated and controlled by the situation he has created. She accuses him of being scared of his wife. She feels like ‘the other woman’ and tells him that if he doesn’t tell Zenab, it’s over
