Zahir advises Zak to try talking to Nadia again. Pervaiz comes downstairs and Zak introduces him to his new friend. Later Zak tries reasoning with Nadia but she refuses to listen. Zak makes a comment about Sway being black but Nadia says she can’t help that she fell in love with him. Zak then produces a copy of the Qu’ran saying it will bring Nadia comfort at this time. He tells her how Islam is changing his life for the better.
Amrit is on the phone to Rajvinder and thanks her for sending over the possessions she had been looking after. He tells her Kuljit was overjoyed at seeing photos of his mum again. Rajvinder says she wishes Kuls wasn’t so angry about everything, he was such a difficult child. Amrit says that’s all in the past now and then tells her about his aspiration to start helping out at the Gurdwara.
Mary and Bill are going through the box of stuff Vinnie has organized for the 60’s night when Bill gets a call informing him that his friend Harry has died and the funeral is next week. Mary says she hasn’t been to church for years and Bill admits he hasn’t been since his divorce. They agree to put their differences with the church aside for Harry’s sake.
Nadia fills Sway in on Zak’s visit and he tells her to give her family more time to get their heads around the situation. Sway thinks they should go to London to visit his family for a few days. A break away from here would be the best thing all round.
Zak gets home to find Pervaiz stressed about kids ringing the doorbell and running away. Zak tries to calm him down but realizes the real issue is Nadia and Sway. Pervaiz gets emotional and admits he just wants his little girl home. The bell rings again and Pervaiz charges towards the door. Suddenly Pervaiz gasps for breath and crashes to the ground. Zak phones for an ambulance and reassures his dad that he’s going to be OK…….
