At the restaurant Jodie tells Vinnie that Pradeep wants him in the kitchen. Vinnie walks off as Amrit arrives wondering if Kuls has seen his prayer book and then announces he wants to get involved with the Gurdwara. Kuls promises they can talk about it later.
Mani arrives and Jodie tells him Vinnie annoyed her with comments about Neel earlier. She later tells Kuls how much she is missing Neel but they are interrupted by Vinnie who wonders if Kuls might want to check on Sway. According to Vinnie he saw Pervaiz having a right go at Sway and Nadia. Kuls and Jodie rush off bumping into Mary and Bill on their way out. Kuls says he’ll be back soon and Vinnie will look after them.
Vinnie is at his most charming as he shows them to their table but Mary thinks he is full of himself. Mary and Bill discuss the pub and Mary says she misses Sean’s help in the bar. Children in Need is coming up and then there is the sixties night next week. Vinnie overhears and says he knows someone who can provide the fancy dress. He goes off to ring his mate much to Mary’s annoyance. She hasn’t had the chance to agree yet.
Bill moves away to take a phone call and Mani takes the opportunity to ask Mary about Bill. Mani says it’s good to see her happy and they make a great team behind the bar. It’s a good working relationship with friendship being the added bonus. Mary changes the subject saying she’s ready to order now.
Kuls and Jodie find Sway in a foul mood. Kuls reckons Sway and Nadia should lay low for a while but Jodie disagrees. Sway should stand up to Nadia’s parents. Sway says he doesn’t know to do but he can’t take much more of this…..
