Mushtaq comes to give Pervaiz some advice about Nadia. If they let things run their course it will just fizzle out like Imran and Jas. Pervaiz is comforted but Khatija is scathing. She reckons Mushtaq’s come round to gloat. Pervaiz tries to shut her up but Mushtaq decides now is a good time to leave. He tells Pervaiz if Khatija behaves like that with Nadia she’ll just push her further away.
Nadia is feeling down, she misses her family even after everything. Sway tries to cheer her up suggesting they go to the fireworks. Nadia’s not ready to face the gossips yet though. Sway has a better idea, they’ll have their own display. They go to buy some supplies and bump into Rita. Awkwardly Rita lets Nadia know she’s there for her if she needs anything.
Arun and Mindy spend their first date playing Scrabble. Mindy isn’t impressed with Arun’s vocabulary and refuses to allow him ‘mashup’. Arun conveniently decides it’s time to go if they are going to make the fireworks. On the way Arun tells her about Nadia and Sway. Mindy is shocked that Nadia’s parents are so narrow-minded. When they get to the firework display Rita soon spots them and comes over for an introduction. Rita embarrasses Arun as she and Mindy talk about him as if he’s not there.
Back at the barge Nadia and Sway watch their private display but Nadia is still unhappy. Sway tells her it’s been tough for him as well. Nadia gets annoyed, she’s the one who’s been disowned by her family. They start to bicker but suddenly come to their senses, and make up. Sway comes up with another bright idea, they should get married. Nadia gently points out that won’t solve anything. Maybe the only way they can be together is if they make a new start, just the two of them….away from Silver Street!
