Have your say
Kuljit meets his solicitor and fills her in on Rajvinder’s suggestion that Kuljit should take over as receiver, as long as he stops the investigation. Francesca thinks Kuljit is right to be suspicious of her motives. Kuljit gets a shock though, when he says it might be the best thing for Amrit. Francesca tells him it’s too late, now they’ve alerted the court of protection there’s nothing they can do to stop it.
Sway and Nadia wake up together still in last night’s clothes, they talked until gone 3am before they fell asleep in each other’s arms. Sway checks that Nadia still intends to tell her parents and she assures him she hasn’t changed her mind, but why don’t they wait a couple of days so at least they could enjoy the weekend together. Then she suddenly remembers she’s supposed to be meeting Arshad to give him her decision. Sway offers to go with her but Nadia points out it might be a touch insensitive!
Sway calls at the café for breakfast. Jodie’s interested to know what’s put him in such a good mood but Sway’s not telling. When she suggests a night out tonight with Kuls and Rachel, Sway makes a lame excuse and rushes away.
Meanwhile Nadia meets Arshad at the same restaurant he proposed in yesterday. Nadia comes straight out with the news he didn’t want to hear and tells Arshad she can’t marry him. She’s sorry if she’s hurt him but she couldn’t live a lie any more. Arshad feels used, that Nadia’s strung him along but asks if she’s really thought about what she’s doing, can’t she see he’s offering her a way out. Nadia’s mind is made up though, she asks Arshad one last favour, please can he put off telling his parents till after the weekend…….
