Nadia turns up at the barge sobbing uncontrollably. Sway helps her in and tries to find out what on earth the matter is but can’t get any sense out of her. He calms her down enough for Nadia to tell him that Arshad has asked her to marry him. Sway is confused, although it’s not good news for him he thought Nadia would be pleased. Nadia explains Arshad is everything she should want in a husband…but as he sat there and proposed she realised she couldn’t marry him because…….he’s just not Sway.
Sway can’t believe what he’s hearing as Nadia confesses that she loves him, and has done for ages. He throws his arms around her and they can barely speak between their kisses. Nadia tells Sway how she’d tried to deny her feelings, even to herself, because she was afraid of hurting her parents. Now though, nothing else matters, she wants to be with him and Sway promises to never let her go. They talk about why they split up before and Sway explains how broken up he was that she could let his colour affect the way she felt. Nadia is upset that she could have behaved so badly but Sway brushes her apologies aside, that’s all behind them now. Nadia’s phone rings and she can see it’s her mum calling but she doesn’t answer. Instead Nadia calls Jas to ask her to cover for her, if Khatija asks; Nadia is staying with Jas tonight.
Sway cooks them a meal and more relaxed now they reminisce about how they first met. Soon however they have to return to the problem of how they are going to break the news to Nadia’s family. As Nadia starts to get upset again Sway kisses her tears away and tells her to relax and just enjoy the moment, while they can.
