Have your say
Vinnie is relaxing whilst Kuljit is doing the vacuuming so he makes him put the cutlery out. Vinnie reckons the place is dated, too homely, they should aim higher, with people who have real plastic. Vinnie asks about Kuljit’s past life then gets distracted by Mindy walking past and then remembers that a parcel arrived for Amrit. Kuljit guesses it’s from Rajvinder.
Mindy visits Sway and is annoyed because the paper has been published with all the festival news but with loads of errors on it, even Chunky has threatened to ban her from his place.
Vinnie spots a fellow Londoner walk into Saffron Rays and quizzes him. The man introduces himself as Manjit from Clapham and there on business. Manjit notices Kuljit seems like a good manager. Vinnie says he could be better, his mind’s not on the job, he lets personal matters get in the way, his dad’s been ripped off by his aunt and he’s had to get the law on to her.
Jas visits Sway to check out what the new girl is like. Sway says she should be concentrating on her placement at the TV company but Jas still misses the place. Sway mentions Nadia and Arshad. He wonders whether he’s a relative. Jas says not yet.
Mindy notices Arun is preoccupied about Zak growing a beard. Arun says he’s losing a mate, he’s going weird and moving into religious stuff, he gives out Islamic books and is always hanging around with Zahir. He didn’t even ask him to get involved in Radio Ramzaan, he could have done the technical stuff at least. Mindy says he should just talk to Zak.
Roopa confides in Bina, she can’t understand why her parents are going to the support group, they could have asked her, it’s not right them talking to strangers about her. Bina suggests they may need to sound off, its better to talk to people of the same age maybe. Roopa agrees.
The lights come on and Kuljit notices Manjit has not gone back to London. Kuljit is shocked when he introduces himself as Aunty Rajvinder’s son.
