Brian catches up with Rozena and realizes she is stifling tears. Rozena insists she is okay but she clearly isn’t. Rozena rambles about everything being normal and then something reminds her again. Brian doesn’t understand but insists he isn’t taking her home until she tells him what is going on.
Elsewhere Jaggy leaves another message for Simran. How long is she going to keep up not talking to him? Later Mohan rings and Jaggy tells him about Simran being difficult. Mohan reckons Jaggy should come to Bury. His being out of the picture might make Simran realize a few things. Jaggy isn’t sure but Mohan is adamant that Jaggy is coming home for Diwali.
Rozena tells Brian how Imran killed Mickey. She thought it would all be over once the allotments were concreted over but now it’s back to haunt them in the form of Mickey’s son Gary. His presence reminds them constantly and that’s why Imran went to Pakistan. Rozena tries to kiss Brian but he stops her saying this is wrong. Rozena can’t believe Brian is knocking her back and says Sameer makes her feel damaged too. Brian says he is nothing like Sameer and Rozena tells him to prove it.
Kamla wants Krishan to go to sleep but he says the best time to learn is late at night. Krishan thinks Rita and Pradeep are worried he won’t pass his Eleven Plus exam and that’s why Diwali is cancelled this year. Kamla promises they will celebrate after Krishan’s exam.
Brian asks Rozena if she thinks this is easy for him. He has had feelings for her for ages and is not going to let it result in a grubby fumble. Funny how Rozena hits rock bottom and suddenly sleeping with Brian doesn’t seem so bad after all. Rozena starts to protest but Brian tells her to get into the car. They are going home……….
