Nadia is applying makeup whilst listening to Radio Ramzaan. Nadia suggests Zak is too involved with the station and neglecting his studies. Zak changes the subject saying he is off to see Sway at Parkside. Zak reminds Nadia its Ramzaan and she shouldn't be spending so much time looking in the mirror - unless it's for Arshad's benefit of course.
Jodie and Sway discuss the street festival. Jodie reckons Sway is avoiding Nadia. He hasn't been the same since they saw her with her 'partner'. They are interrupted by Zak who wants to borrow a minidisc player for Radio Ramzaan. Sway says he'll drop it off but backtracks when Zak says he'll be out and suggests Sway leave it with Nadia.
Rita and Jas fill Pradeep in on the parent support group. Pradeep reckons Roopa seems fine but Rita says it helps to share experiences. Pradeep isn't convinced and when Rita suggests another meeting on Friday he uses work as an excuse. Rita then talks about Krishan saying she is trying to keep him focused on his entrance exam for grammar school. Pradeep reminds Rita they are already doing the best for all their kids.
Sway is telling Jodie he knows things couldn't work between him and Nadia due to religious differences. Jodie invites him to watch TV with her on the barge and Sway jokes it better be platonic.
Nadia and Arshad run into Jas. Arshad moves away to take a call. Jas is excited that she finally got to meet him and tells Nadia she wants all the juicy details. Jas reckons Arshad might be 'the one' but Nadia isn't sure although he hasn't put a foot wrong yet. Jas can't believe it. Has Nadia got another fit, eligible bachelor lined up or something? Nadia doesn't find this funny and rushes off despite Jas's claims that she is joking.....
