Rita and Jas go along to the Parent Support Group. Sally welcomes them although Rita is still feeling very nervous. Rita gets chatting to another parent called Clare who says that her son has been a sufferer for 3 years and its not just girls who go through it.
Mr Edwards speaks up and he is emotional about his daughter, not knowing how to help her. Rita relates to that. Clare says that her son used to stay in his room on the computer chatting to other Bulimics, he hid it from them. Rita plucks up the courage to speak and tells them about Roopa and other people join in with similar experiences. Rita explains that they were devastated that they had let her down and missed the signs. Jas mentions that they felt guilty and to blame.
Shazia and Mushtaq go to an art exhibition. She thinks it's great to do something different, just to take your mind off things. She talks about how it was strange seeing Akram all over his new wife, she wants to dislike her but can't as she's great with her sons. She felt a bit jealous when she saw them all together. Mushtaq thinks she still has feelings for him but she clearly says no, she just misses the family life. She does get the feeling that he sometimes wished things hadn't gone so far. When she said she loved him on the phone, there's no point to it as they still have to lie to everyone. Mushtaq promises to tell Zenab again, he's just waiting for the right moment.
Rita thanks Jas for going along with her, it sure opened their eyes but she's not sure Roopa would agree to a family session they talked about.
Mushtaq rings Zenab and is about to tell her about Shazia until she starts asking about Rozena and Sameer and whether she's pregnant. Mushtaq says he's ringing for another reason and then chickens out saying that there is no need for her to hurry back.
