Rita asks Jas whether Roopa has said anything to her about her therapy sessions so when Roopa walks in, Rita can't resist asking, but Roopa replies with one word answers. Jas notices she's reading something and finds out that it's an audition piece for the school play but it's for Bina, Roopa doesn't want to do it. Bina walks in and tells Rita out of earshot that she'll try and talk Roopa into it.
As Bina and Roopa walk to school, Bina reckons she'd love time off to attend therapy sessions but Roopa tells her that people think you are weird, it's her parents who are weird, they don't understand her and she wished they'd stop trying so hard. Bina brings up the play and asks Roopa if she will audition with her, she needs her to make it a laugh but Roopa says she's not in the mood.
Jaggy is late to baby-sit a wailing Kesar. Simran says it proves her point about him just not being responsible. Jaggy wants to take him to the park, it's their routine but Simran wants him to do things her way now.
Rita is getting worked up talking to Jas about Roopa's therapist. How will they know if she is getting worse, the therapist won't tell them as they have a confidentiality code. Jas suggests ringing the therapist to see if there's anything they can do to help them as parents.
Whilst Jaggy is looking after Kesar, his dad rings and is delighted that Jaggy is spending time with his son but gets angry when he finds out that it's on Simran's terms, he says that fathers have rights too, he shouldn't agree so easily.
Rita rings the therapist to ask about Roopa. Sarah explains that the mood changes are not uncommon with her condition and the parents would be told of anything serious but Roopa is making big steps. Sally suggests they attend the Parents Support Group session on Friday which would be helpful.
