Mary's glad that Sean has perked up more, the charity job's given him a real sense of purpose but notices Brian is miserable and keeps looking at his watch looking like a love struck teenager.
At the apartment, Sameer is panicking when Rozena walks in. She's late and his parents are due for dinner very soon. Rozena wants a shower but Sameer says she's not got time, she needs to move all her papers from the table and set it too. When they arrive, they comment on how much they like the apartment. Tara offers to help in the kitchen but they both shout out that they are ok.
Any opportunity, Rozena offers to run to the kitchen to fetch things. Tara comments on how well the lamb has been cooked and they reckon their lazy son just sat and watched her. They start talking about children and Rozena makes a swift move to check on pudding. They present Tara with a birthday cake and a present that Rozena didn't even know Sameer had bought.
Rozena notices a text from Brian and she tells Sameer that it's work. Tara comments on how they couldn't have wished for a better wife for their son. After they've left, Sameer sarcastically says she must be exhausted and goes for a walk. Rozena says she'll have an early night and rings Brian telling him that she's not cut up to be a wife. He suggests dinner with him next week, she remembers its his birthday and says she'll be there.
At the pub, Brian is now in a great mood. Sameer orders a drink and joins Jaggy moaning about how nothing he does is right. Jaggy thinks he has everything, the money, the home, the job and the home life but Sameer's reply is that the grass isn't always greener and when he finds out Simran is holding the reins to Jaggy's relationship with Kesar since the trial, he says she'll come round once he gains her trust again.
