Jas has been shopping and given her credit card a bashing. She shows her new outfit to Rita while Krishan sounds like he's coming through the ceiling on top of them as he stomps around practicing his dance moves; they are all off to the Parkside later to join in the Navratri celebrations. Krishan is disappointed though when Roopa refuses to go because she and Bina have too much homework.
At the centre, Rita and Jas watch the dancing while Krishan sulks in the corner. He's too shy to dance with any of the girls and is missing Roopa. Jas offers to dance with him but he's had enough and just wants to leave. Jas takes him home leaving Rita to enjoy the rest of the fun. When Jas and Krishan get home though it doesn't sound like there's much homework being done as they hear the music blaring. Roopa and Bina are shrieking with laughter as they do a Navratri dance. When Roopa sees them she quickly turns the music off and stops but Krishan turns it back on and soon the four of them are dancing and laughing again.
Mohan is desperate to see Kesar again before he goes home, he feels put out that Pete's mum sees more of his grandson than he does. Jaggy tries to ring Simran again but just keeps getting her answer phone. Mohan keeps on at Jaggy to ring again but, frustrated when Jaggy refuses, he tries to call her himself. Finally Jaggy snaps and yells at his dad to stop interfering. Upset, Mohan packs his things and orders a cab; Jaggy tries to persuade him to stay at least till morning. Mohan insists that he is leaving right now, but how on earth will he break it to Jaggy's mum that their grandson is being raised by a stranger.
