Shazia wants to find another special and expensive present for Danyal's 21 st . Her dad isn't impressed with her idea of an MP3 player to ruin his hearing with, but Shazia feels she needs to compete with the lavish party her ex-husband is throwing for him. Wahid thinks the photo album Shazia has already put together for Danyal is a wonderful present. They laugh as they look back at some of the old photos.
Kuljit has a meeting with his solicitor who explains that Rajvinder was appointed as a receiver to look after Amrit's money when he became ill. She would have access to the interest from the money but would have to provide receipts for everything she spent to prove it was for the care of Amrit. Kuljit is scathing of the system though and still believes that Rajvinder used the money for herself. Francesca asks Kuljit to speak to Amrit to see what he remembers but Kuljit isn't keen because he doesn't want to upset his dad. He says Neera might be able to help but she doesn't want to do anything to upset Amrit. Francesca explains that they can't do this without upsetting people; the Court of Protection will contact Rajvinder with the allegations against her as soon as they start making enquiries.
Sameer surprises Rozena, arriving home early. She carries on cooking but Sameer has more important issues on his mind. He screws up the courage to suggest Rozena should see a therapist about her attack. When Sameer says she might have been damaged by the experience Rozena flies off the handle and starts throwing his things into the spare room. If he thinks she's damaged goods he can sleep on his own!
