Nadia is outraged reading a biased newspaper interview with Kenny Lester. Khatija tells her to get rid of it before Kamal sees it. Later Khatija takes an opportunity to talk to Kamal alone. She feels bad about the way she treated him at first and wants to make amends. She tells Kamal that she and Pervaiz want to have a Khatam at home for Khalid. Kamal is overcome with their kindness and spontaneously hugs her. Khatija is taken aback but soon hugs Kamal back welcoming him to the family.
Sean has shut himself away again after the trial. Jodie calls round to try and snap him out of his blues. He doesn't want to be cheered up though and gives her a hard time. Jodie wears him down until he agrees to try and get into charity work like he'd planned.
Sway teases Kuljit about a boob he's made on an invoice. Mani thinks Kuljit could do with a hand now they are so busy and offers to take on some help. Kuljit jumps at the idea; it would be great to have someone to do the donkey work. He's surprised though when Mani announces he's already lined up his cousin's son, Vinod, for the role.
Sway calls to see Kamal. Khatija isn't very welcoming but when Kamal is so grateful to Sway for standing by him in she can't help boasting about the Khatam for Kamal's brother. It's wasted on Sway though who has no idea what she's talking about. Kamal explains that they will all pray for Khalid's soul. Kamal invites Sway to join them for Iftari but Khatija makes it clear he's not welcome and Sway makes his excuses. Nadia shows Sway out and gives him a friendly hug to thank him for everything he did for Kamal. But the hug goes on....and on..... and on, until they break apart, both confused by their feelings.
