The Akhtars are all ready for Court nice and early but there's still no sign of Kamal. Khatija has her mind on practicalities though and is busy packing a picnic. Just as they are about to leave Kamal appears in the kitchen and doesn't seem to be in any hurry. He refuses their offer to wait for him and starts to eat breakfast. The Akhtars reluctantly leave him behind and just hope that he will show up at Court, otherwise the trial will be off.
Meanwhile Jaggy's also getting ready to go to Court. His dad offers to lend him his tie as he thinks Jaggy's looks a bit flash. Jaggy's more worried about what might come out when he testifies and tries to encourage his dad not to come with him. Mohan won't listen though and sticks to Jaggy's side making him more nervous than ever.
An anxious Darren waits outside the Court with his dad. Kenny tries to reassure him that he's got nothing to worry about now he's paid Kamal off. Darren's not convinced though and is sure he'll be found guilty.
The Akhtars arrive at the Courthouse and spot Darren and Kenny outside. To their disgust Kenny looks as though he hasn't a care in the world and Nadia is aching to wipe the smug look off his face. Then she sees Jaggy with Mohan and goes over to tell him she thinks it's great thing he's doing.....speaking up for Kamal against an old friend.
Everyone starts to make their way inside to the Court rooms except Kenny who stays outside to make a call. Then to his dismay he sees Kamal walking towards him. Kenny's anger soon turns to desperation as he realizes that Kamal's silence can't be bought.
