Rita shows Pradeep a flyer for a Mexican restaurant and suggests they check it out as a family for his birthday. Pradeep says he would rather it was just the two of them this year, they don't have enough time on their own. Rita thinks it's a perfect idea but screws up the flyer, they deserve better than plastic tablecloths and laminated menus. Sameer goes to Rita for advice. Even though Rozena told them about the attack she is now pretending it never happened. Sameer thinks it was really a cry for help though so Rita suggests it might better for Rozena to talk to a therapist. Sameer reckons it won't be easy. Imagine Rozena agreeing to that! Sameer asks how Rita knows so much about this and she quickly answers it's something she picked up through her translating work.
Kuljit snaps at Neera over the phone and then argues with Pradeep. He apologises to Pradeep later explaining he is so stressed about all this business over Amrit's money. Pradeep reckons Kuls can't just stand by and watch his dad ripped off. Kuljit agrees, in the long run this is the right thing to do and he is not backing down!
Khatija and Pervaiz are waiting for Nadia and Zak to call from Manchester . Why did they let them go off like that, what with Zak's new college course? What will his lecturers think? Pervaiz reminds her how determined they can be, and besides Zak will catch up. Khatija just wishes they'd phone that's all. Finally they get a call from Nadia to say they've tracked Hassan down but he claims not to know where Kamal is. Khatija wants them to come straight home but Nadia says they've come too far. They need to find Kamal and they are running out of time.....
