Jaggy's solicitor tells him he may face tough questions from Darren's defence. Jaggy is worried they'll make out Darren couldn't be racist seeing as he and Jaggy were good friends once. The solicitor advises Jaggy to say he put up with all the racist banter because that's part of the territory in football but witnessing someone being beaten up is a different story. The solicitor reckons Darren could go down for as much as ten years but if he pleads guilty to a lesser charge it would mean a lesser sentence.
Sway tells Kuls he may have to be a witness although he didn't really see much. Kuls asks if Sway has told the centre about the trial. Sway says he hasn't told them anything. He isn't jeopardising his job at Parkside by letting them find out about his 'previous life'.
The court is still trying to reach Kamal and this time it's Khatija who makes up an excuse. She tells Nadia they can't fob the courts off for ever. Later Nadia decides she and Zak are going to Manchester to find Kamal. Without him the trial might collapse and Darren gets away with what he did.
Jaggy tries talking to Simran but she is busy with the salon. Besides she has her own stuff going on right now and isn't Jaggy's sounding board anymore. Jaggy is hurt but asks if she will be there on the day as it would mean a lot to him. Simran agrees to think about it.
Elsewhere Mary is worried about Sean being called as a witness. He doesn't need it after everything he has been through. Bill tells her they might ask Sean tough questions but she has to remember he isn't the one in the dock this time. Mary says he didn't see much that night anyway and hopes he won't be called..........
