Simran asks if Jaggy can babysit tonight but he says he has made plans. Pete tells her not to worry. Mary is a great babysitter. Why doesn't Simran give her a call?
Pervaiz hands Khatija an envelope and she discovers it is stuffed with money. Nadia reads out the enclosed note. It's from Kamal who wants them to accept the money as a token of his gratitude. Khatija confirms there is five hundred pounds.
Jaggy chats to Sameer about the court case. As a solicitor can Sameer tell him what to expect. What questions will they ask? Should he avoid eye contact with Darren? Sameer says its best to look away, keep calm and tell the truth. Jaggy invites him out for a drink later.
The Akhtars try to figure out where Kamal got the money from. Nadia reckons Khatija should be pleased he has gone. She never liked him anyway. Pervaiz reckons there must be a reasonable explanation but Khatija isn't convinced.
Jaggy and Sameer are in a bar discussing marriage. Jaggy reckons Sameer is lucky to be married to Rozena. Sameer says things aren't always as good as they seem. Unknown to Jaggy, Simran and Pete are in the same bar and she has spotted him. Simran can't believe he was making out he couldn't babysit because he had a hot date and here he is drinking with Sameer.
Meanwhile Khatija is telling Pervaiz what she'll do if she ever gets her hands on Kamal. How dare he hurt Nadia like that! How much did they really know about that boy anyway? Pervaiz just hopes he comes back in time for the trial......
