Zak catches Kamal up who is rushing up the street. Kamal explains that he is late for a decorating job, he needs the work desperately as his family are relying on him. Zak tells him he will make himself ill by doing so many odd jobs and he's noticed he's not eating properly either.

Pradeep has had the evening off work and asks Rita where she would like to go to celebrate their anniversary. Rita says they should go as a family after everything they've all been through recently. He is disappointed, he was hoping for something more intimate.

Simran chats to Jodie saying she's having fun with Pete, its nothing heavy, he makes her laugh. Jodie says Neel is always working but she loves him. Simran nearly puts her foot in it when she says she can't understand that but covers it up by saying that the main thing is, she loves him. Jodie explains that he's going back to India and she'll miss him, they weren't each others property but the thought of him leaving breaks her heart. Simran says she should tell him but Jodie doesn't want to risk losing him.

Rita bumps into Rozena at the shops who is avoiding her. Rozena explains she's been busy but wants to know if she's told Pradeep about her and Trucon. Rita says its not important considering what she's been through and she wouldn't break her confidence. Rita tells her she needs to face the past or it will haunt her, Rozena just promises to call Rita.

Krishan gives his dad tips on how to make Rita breakfast in bed and serenade her. Krishan is disgusted that he hasn't even got her a present and tells his dad not to buy her oven gloves. Krishan suggests bowling as the evening out so that they can all go.

Kenny approaches Kamal and says the court case is not far now and he will do anything to keep his son out of prison so he will give him £25,000, it could get him a long way. He wants him to ring him when he's decided, either way.
