Episode Synopsis
Friday 4th August 2006

Zenab and Rozena are nervously waiting for Imran to arrive home so they can leave for the airport. Zenab is panicking saying she knew letting him go to the Mela was a bad idea and Jas has probably persuaded Imran to stay. Rozena tries to calm her mother down and gives Imran another call.

At the Mela Simran apologises to Pete for Jaggy's petty behaviour. Pete laughs it off saying it must be hard for Jaggy to see Simran with another man so he doesn't mind. Simran retorts that he two-timed with another woman and that she's now free to do what she wants!

Neera and Amrit are enjoying themselves at the Mela. They make their way over to Jaggy's stall where Jaggy offers a prize of a hundred pounds to the first person to score a goal against him. After Kuls and Neera have failed, Jaggy goads Pete who takes up the challenge and scores much to Jaggy's fury. Pete magnanimously donates the cash to charity.

Imran has returned home to Zenab and Rozena's relief. Rozena tells Imran he really needs this holiday but Imran responds that he feels more like a fugitive on the run. Zenab tells Rozena that she can come with them too but Rozena insists that someone needs to stay and look after Mushtaq and the business.

Neera tells Kuls she's had a great time at the Mela. They discuss Rajvinder's intention to visit for Rukhriyaan with Kuls bitterly commenting that she's probably after a free meal. Neera reminds Kuls that Amrit's relationship with his sister is very important to him and to think carefully before taking things further. Kuls remarks that if he doesn't do what's right for his father then who will?

As Rita and Pradeep walk round the Mela, Rita says she hates the thought of Roopa at home alone and not enjoying this too. It's such a contrast to last year's Mela. They bump into Jas who has clearly been crying but she brushes off their questions and walks away.

Rozena waves goodbye to Zenab and Imran at the airport. Imran apologises to Rozena for letting her down by not holding it together. Zenab tells Imran he mustn't think like that and tells them both she'll never let them down again. She promises that from now on everything will be ok...
