The Parkside Centre is a hive of activity as Sway frantically attempts to motivate everyone the day before the Mela. Jaggy tells Sway he's waiting for the equipment for his footballing challenge to arrive but everything else is sorted. Gary is trying to salvage the memory wall without much enthusiasm so Sway suggests he give Imran a call.
Mary is subtly attempting to express her concerns to Pete regarding his new relationship with Simran. Pete reassures her that he's not about to propose - they're just having fun. Mary reminds him that as a single mother, with the father very much on the scene, it may not be that simple.
Pete arrives at the Centre to knock up a few posters for his boxing event. He tries to speak to Jaggy about Simran but Jaggy dismisses him brusquely. Pete then offers some spare card for Jaggy's posters which Jaggy rejects. He is confident that word of mouth will help publicise his event, not some tacky poster.
Kuljit tells a subdued Amrit that Neera's been in touch and will be coming up for the Mela immediately raising Amrit's spirits. Rajvinder rings to enquire after Amrit - she's been worried about him and it's not good for families to fight. Kuls tells Rajvinder that Dad's much happier since he found out Neera will be coming to the Mela so Rajvinder asks to speak to Amrit herself.
Back the Centre Jaggy asks Pete whether he seriously thinks anyone will be interested in his naff boxing event. Jaggy asks Arun which event he'd prefer - Arun says no contest - mashing your opponent with big gloves will always be a winner. Jaggy considers making the football fancy dress much to Arun's amusement.
Kuls is annoyed to hear that Rajvinder wants to pay a visit for Rukhriyaan. Amrit tells him that Rajvinder is keen to tie her rukhri in person after all these years. Amrit says Neera can help him select a suit for Rajvinder.
