Pete calls into a busy Beauty Magic to see Simran but he doesn't really know what to say to her. After a few awkward moments talking about the weather they hear Kesar crying and Pete takes the opportunity to escape...
Kuljit is sorting through Amrit's old clothes and comes to the conclusion it's time they went shopping. He's anxious the trip to London might stir up bad memories for his dad but Rachel reassures him it's the right thing to do. Amrit had some good years with Neera so revisiting that time could be really positive for him. Kuls takes Amrit shopping later on and it's obvious Amrit is really excited about the trip - he even asks if they can go on the London Eye!
Kamal gets home from his job in a depressed mood. He's having second thoughts about visiting the detention centre because he feels responsible for Zuber being there - if he hadn't gone to the warehouse he wouldn't have been beaten up and the police would never have found his friends at his house. Nadia does her best to reassure him that Zuber won't blame him for what happened.
Later, Jodie visits Simran at her flat. She can see Simran's dying to tell her something and it doesn't take much pushing before Simran blurts out that she spent Saturday night with Pete. Jodie says maybe it's a sign she's finally moved on from Jaggy and adds that she knows a lot about moving on after losing her mum. It's the anniversary of Stella's death tomorrow.
Simran is clearing the salon after closing when Pete walks in for the second time that day. Simran is expecting him to say Saturday was a mistake and is surprised he just wants to arrange to see her again. He suggests they get together for dinner but Simran doesn't want to wait that long...
