Simran and Pete are getting on like a house on fire at Jas's birthday celebration - it's just a shame Jas isn't having as much fun. She's upset about Imran's moodiness and heads off early, leaving Simran wondering if she should go home too. But after so many nights in with Kesar it doesn't take much for Pete to persuade her to stay out.
Jas decides to go home instead of back to Imran's house and Rita and Pradeep try their best to cheer her up. Even though it's late they give Jas her birthday cake a day early and wake Krishan up so they can all give her their presents. Meanwhile, Jaggy is having trouble stopping Kesar crying. Jaggy takes him from his cot to give him some milk but then his car alarm starts to go off outside which makes things even worse. Jaggy tries to stop it through the window but after a few attempts realises he'll have to go outside. Jaggy rushes next door to ask Sameer to look after Kesar and leaves Sameer cooing over him as he runs downstairs to sort the alarm.
Later on, Simran and Pete share a taxi back to Silver Street . They flirt all the way and start to kiss, but the driver interrupts them when they arrive at the salon. Pete says it's a shame the best nights always end so early but Simran doesn't think they have to: why doesn't he come inside?
Jaggy collects Kesar from Sameer and they arrange to watch the World Cup Final together. Just as Jaggy walks back into the flat, Simran calls and asks him to keep Kesar for the night - she thinks she's coming down with something! Over at the salon, Simran puts the phone down and turns to Pete: Jaggy reckons she should go straight to bed...
