Sway rings Pradeep to remind him about the Mela meeting. Pradeep mentions he's not sure if Kamla and Roopa will be there even though they were the stars of last year's Mela.
Rozena catches Brian on the phone, he's being told off by someone from the electricity board about the power cut. She's glad the foundations are under way and Brian says he never thought he'd even get the site but he made it, alone. She reminds him she wanted to come back into the development but he reminds her that she left him high and dry.
Jaggy goes to see Simran at the salon. Jaggy tells her, he's bought one of the new apartments as a hotel is no place for a child. He shows her the spec for the apartment and Simran goes on about the electric sockets and the balcony and how his sofas won't stay cream for long. Jaggy tells her he will buy whatever he needs to make it child safe and starts making a list. He later goes shopping to buy everything.
Pradeep sees Rozena and Brian at the development and site and tells Rozena she missed all the fiasco when it emerged that Brian owned the allotment site. Pradeep goes on about how he wanted his kids to pick up from where he left off with the allotments but then he has to walk away as he watches the bulldozer get rid of everything, he's seen enough.
Pradeep then bumps into Simran. She asks how Roopa is. Pradeep explains that it was just women stuff with Roopa and she will be fine and she loves working at the salon but is worried that she may lose her job. Simran says she has nothing to worry about. She says she was scared when Roopa fainted though and are there any medical conditions she should know about? Pradeep says no, she just needs a rest that's all.
