The final Silver Street episode was broadcast on Fri 26 Mar 2010 and the final omnibus on Sun 28 Mar 2010
Friday 23rd June 2006
Zak shows Khatija and Pervaiz his photos from the adventure week. Khatija wants to know more about Gary 's dad asking whether it's true he was murdered. Zak says Sway reckons it was.
At the Centre, Sway and Arun are wondering what's up with Imran. Sway needs help organising a memory wall at the Mela but Imran hasn't returned his calls. Arun says he's too busy being a suit and he's spending all his time in the office these days!
Zahir catches up with Zak on his way home after the Islamic Society meeting. He encourages Zak to go to London with the group to listen to the speaker from tonight talk at a big conference. Plus it would be great if Zak could help out on their Mela stall too.
Arun is putting the finishing touches to his presentation when he is interrupted by Gary . Gary tries to delete the photo of him and Imran with the ambulance and Arun says he's sorry about what happened to Gary 's dad. Gary says it's all in the past and warns Arun not to talk about what happened in the cave.
Back in the Akhtar house, Khatija asks about the meeting that Zak attended. Zak is vague saying they're a religious group who are trying to enlist his help on their Mela stall and that details will be finalised at the planning meeting next week - Khatija is incensed about being kept in the dark about the meeting - Sway can't leave her out after all the work she's put in at Parkside over the years!
Sway addresses the boisterous lads at the centre handing out some spoof awards for the adventure week. Gary taunts Zak about being like Osama Bin Laden and Arun retorts that Gary should know - after all Bin Laden hides out in caves! Gary confronts Arun later that evening when he is leaving grabbing him by the neck and telling him to keep out of what doesn't concern him...
