Mushtaq pays Rozena a visit and presents her with the mask Zenab bought from Jodie's Disti sale - much to Rozena's disdain! He confesses Zenab isn't in a good mood and that the crowd of lads that came over to watch the football on Tuesday night may be the reason! Mushtaq blames Brian's cowboy workers for the power cut complaining that the entire redevelopment has been a nightmare from day one.
Rita is trying on the earrings Kamla bought for Roopa from the charity sale whilst Kamla complains about Indraneel's rudeness. Rita admits she too is surprised by Jodie's choice. Kamla is saddened that Roopa didn't want the earrings and Rita tells her not to fret - she'll come round in her own time. Bina calls round wanting to see Roopa and Kamla reacts with fury at Bina's carefree attitude saying that Bina is solely to blame for Roopa's condition.
Jas goes round to speak to Rozena about Imran saying he's been distant since the adventure week. Rozena tells her not to worry and that he's probably preoccupied with work pressures or the World Cup like a typical man!
Rita calls Bina to apologise for Kamla's outburst. Bina says she knew nothing about Roopa's bulimia but that she had noticed she'd been acting strangely. Kamla is angered that Rita is apologising to Bina saying the further away Bina keeps the better. Rita reminds her that they can't alienate Roopa's friends and to think before she speaks!
Imran calls round to see Mushtaq saying he'd thought he'd relax and watch a game with his old man but he's clearly got something else on his mind. Mushtaq tells him that he can't as he and Zenab are planning a quiet night in together. Imran says he needs to escape for a while and Mushtaq sympathises saying that he knows running a business isn't easy but Imran can come to him anytime with his problems...
