The final Silver Street episode was broadcast on Fri 26 Mar 2010 and the final omnibus on Sun 28 Mar 2010
Monday 12th June 2006
The lads from the Centre are waiting to set off on their adventure week away, and are getting rowdy waiting for Gary and Saj to arrive. Sway rings Gary to hurry them up and they eventually appear...but they're off the minibus again before they've even sat down, because Sway hears bottles clinking in their bags. The rules are no drink and no drugs. Then they're off on their way to Wales ...
Dave, the course introduces himself and tells them that they will have to prove their strength, then at the end of the week there will be a workshop with a celebrity DJ. Arun wants to know who it is but Dave wants them unpacked and ready to go, pronto! Gary and Saj carry on hassling Arun in the dorm and another group of lads (from Liverpool ) in the room next door bang on the wall and shout. Gary says they don't scare him and Arun asks, why he didn't say anything when they dissed his trousers then?
Meanwhile outside, Sway is trying to get a signal on his mobile. He was hoping to be put out of his misery about the Parkside job but if only the payphone works it looks like there's no chance.
Dave shows the lads their first challenge: an army assault course, racing against lads from Bradford and Liverpool . He wants Sway and Pete to lead by example but miraculously Pete's back starts to hurt! Sean's the last to go for Parkside and has almost won it when someone shouts his name. It's Yusef, from the YOI; he's with the Bradford group. Sean is shocked and Liverpool take advantage to win the race...
