Kuljit spots Jodie waiting for Simran outside the restaurant. Jodie defends Indraneel when Kuljit says he was rude yesterday, though she does admit he can be abrasive when he's concentrating. Jodie asks after Amrit, which reminds Kuls to check he's taken his medication. Amrit takes his own medicine now but Kuljit still doesn't feel happy leaving him for long so he's pulled out of the Centre's adventure week.
Imran arrives home to find Jas in a much better mood - her assignments are in! Just as well, says Imran, because he's planned a celebratory dinner. Then Arun turns up and spoils their plans: he needs a break from the atmosphere at home and Imran says he's welcome to stay.
Sim and Jodie are out in a bar. Sim can't help wondering how Jaggy's getting on with Kesar and Jodie reassures her he'll be fine. But, over at Jaggy's apartment, Kesar is bawling his eyes out. Jaggy opens the electric blind and Kesar stops crying as the blind moves. A relieved Jaggy keeps the blind whirring up and down all night and Kesar only starts crying again when Simran fetches him. Jaggy reckons he doesn't want to leave!
Pradeep's in a bad mood after having to take the night off and when Rita tells him Arun's gone 'out' he reaches the end of his patience. He rings Jas's mobile and hears Imran shouting in the background...
Pradeep and Rita march straight round to Imran's. Rita tries to keep things calm but Pradeep is on the verge of hitting him. Imran stands up to Pradeep and makes both parents listen to their children talk about how they feel about what's happened. Rita breaks down listening to Jas and Imran tries to comfort her: his own family broke up long ago but it's not too late for the Chauhans. He'll look after Jas and Arun for a couple of days but now Rita and Pradeep really must get back to Roopa...
