A tearful Rita visits Roopa in hospital who is still felling dizzy. The Doctor confirms that Roopa will be staying overnight and then asks her questions on whether she eats breakfast and whether she is anaemic or on a diet. He also mentions the water tablets found in her bag. Roopa says she's been taking them because she's been feeling bloated.
Arun and Jas rush in to see Roopa. Jas tells them its gone too far, she needs to tell their parents, Roopa tries to stop her until the Doctor ushers them outside for being loud. Jas tells them that Roopa has bulimia and they thought they could handle it and didn't want to worry them. Roopa has been bingeing and throwing up and Dr Masud has diagnosed her with bulimia. Rita and Pradeep are shocked and annoyed noone told them, so Dr Masud has been seeing her without them knowing too? Rita is ranting about them keeping this from her, they may have made things worse for her. Arun offers to stay when they get thrown out of the ward.
At home, Krishan asks Kamla if Roopa will die. Pradeep explains that Roopa is groggy and on a drip as she's dehydrated. They all need to look after her when she gets out. Krishan is sent upstairs while they tell Kamla what has happened. Rita starts shouting at Kamla for being careless with her tablets and at Jas, she's known for 9 months? Roopa is just a child, Jas should have been a responsible adult. Jas explains at least she noticed and saw the signs, she's meant to be the mum, not her.
Rita cries in Roopa's bedroom, she blames herself, she only needs to look around the room to see the biscuit wrappers. Pradeep says it's his fault too, how could they have missed the signs.
