Roopa and Pradeep are jogging but he can't keep up so gives up.
Mushtaq asks Zenab where they are going, he's tired and doesn't like surprises. She tells him to stop winging and being a control freak, they used to be spontaneous when they first arrived in the country. Mushtaq explains he used to work hard and she used to drive him mad with her fantasies about spending the money they didn't have.
Sway's filling out the application form for the Parkside Centre Manager position when Jodie pops in and mentions he must be settling down. He then rips it up, he doesn't want all that settling down stuff, if he commits, he'll have to stay put and it'll be admitting defeat with his music, he'll never become a producer and he can't handle being close to Nadia not wanting him. Jodie explains that dreams adjust as you get older, he has to be practical, he has friends there, he can't let a woman chase him away and besides if he doesn't apply, he'll never know.
Roopa's been running and gets changed in the salon until Simran hears a crash. Roopa has collapsed but when she comes round, she can't get up, Simran insists on calling an ambulance and gets Kulwant to look after Kesar.
At the pub, Mary tells Pete she will have to offer Khatija the permanent position at Brady's News. They are interrupted by Dr Masud who warns her that Sean wants to know who his dad is. He tells her to be sensitive about it. Pete mentions Sean was asking him too. Mary will have to talk to him.
Mushtaq and Zenab are at the zoo and Mushtaq wants to go home. Zenab says they should go out often but Mushtaq comments it's quite cold whereas in Pakistan it's warm. Zenab asks why he is so keen for her to go. The day has been a taster on how things could be, they are good for each other and he knows that too.
