Nadia and Kamal are on their way to see MP Malik when Nadia gets a call to say Kamal's article will be published in the local paper next week but Kamal is worried about how little time they have to prepare for his appeal. They update Shazia Malik on the case and she agrees to write a letter of recommendation and put them in touch with a solicitor she has already briefed. Kamal thanks her for helping.
Jodie turns up at Saffron Rays to find Pradeep rushed off his feet as Kuljit had to pop out. Jodie offers to help and later Pradeep thanks her for being there during the lunchtime rush. He is alarmed when Jodie says she stopped by to talk about this place. Jodie reassures him that she just wants to keep an eye out and help out with any problems.
Shazia calls Mushtaq's mobile but is taken aback when Rozena answers it. Shazia hastily says she is just ringing with the information Mushtaq wanted. Rozena later teases Mushtaq about his friendship with Shazia.
Mushtaq asks Rozena when she is moving back to her in-laws and is told it's difficult to find privacy there. When Sameer returns they will start looking for their own place. Mushtaq offers her one of the loft apartments and is pleased that she is taking her priorities seriously. He starts talking about starting a family and a horrified Rozena says she needs to go out.
Mushtaq calls Shazia back and she tells him she has two tickets for Chelsea Flower Show on Thursday. And they should count themselves lucky that Zenab didn't answer his phone earlier. Where would they have been then?
