Jaggy has given Simran a lift to her parents' house. He offers to wait outside and drive her home but she doesn't think that will be necessary - her dad will take her to the station. Simran goes inside and Jaggy waits anyway. Her mum, Surinder, is surprised to see her and seems quite anxious. She wishes Simran had warned her she was coming; her dad might not even be home for lunch. Simran isn't bothered though - they'll just wait until he gets home...
Zenab arrives home to find boxes in the hall and Mushtaq playing around with a brand new plasma TV. Honestly, says Zenab, is Mushtaq really ill or just having a mid-life crisis?! Mushtaq explains it's for the World Cup but Zenab doesn't have time to listen - somebody has to work to pay for his expensive toys.
Simran's dad doesn't give his daughter the welcome she expects. He orders her to leave the house and says he never wants to see her or Kesar again... Simran runs out in tears straight to Jaggy, who she blames him for everything that's happened. Then he hands Kesar to him and runs off again.
Meanwhile in Silver Street , Jodie goes to Chunky's in search of Zak. After telling him about her trip she says she's heard about Kamal and thinks she may have a way to help out. Mani's house needs a bit of work and she could do with a hand. She'd pay them of course and it would be cash in hand...Zak's sure Kamal will be up for it.
Back in London , Jaggy sits and waits in the car with Kesar until Simran reappears. She just wants to go and not talk about what happened, so they start the drive home to Silver Street ...
