Arun answers the door to find Sean waiting outside. Sean wants to see Rita but she's out at work, so Arun offers him a sneak preview of his music project instead. Sean wants to ask Rita about a photo he found of her and his mum from the '80s. Arun finds his mum's perm hilarious and convinces Sean to hang on for her - he'll get them some grub while they wait.
Mushtaq goes to see Dr Masud. He tells him he feels like the family expect him back at work already and Dr Masud advises him to keep taking it easy instead, which is exactly what Mushtaq wanted to hear. Dr Masud even offers to write him a sick note to show Zenab! He suggests Mushtaq might take up a hobby and they start to chat about football. Dr Masud says his daughter and grandchildren are football fanatics too - they keep demanding a plasma screen to watch the games on!
Meanwhile, Jodie is showing Indraneel around Mani's house. There's more room than they would have on the barge and they can even set up an office for Neel to work in. Neel's missing being on the ground in India but says there are certain perks to being in England , Jodie for one.
Rita arrives home and Sean shows her the photograph. Sean awkwardly asks her about his mum's boyfriends and Rita wants to know why he's so interested all of a sudden. Sean tells her he wants to know more about his dad but Rita doesn't think she will be much help because after Siobhan got pregnant she wasn't allowed to see her. Rita thinks Mani might know something because he ran the Centre in the old days. Sean should ask Jodie for his address...
