Mushtaq answers his house phone. He assumes that it's Shazia and tells her off for calling the house, but actually it's someone calling for Zenab and Mushtaq has to backtrack!
Zak's surprised to find Kamal in bed: after his marathon walk yesterday he thought Kamal would have slept well. Kamal's obviously still feeling bad about imposing on everyone and so it doesn't help when Zak asks if he feels like walking with him to the job centre! Zak assures Kamal he can stay as long as he needs but after he's gone Kamal phones Kenny...then he has second thoughts and hangs up.
Sean helps Pete restock the bar. He's in a bit of a daze and Pete thinks he's upset with Mary for nagging him about college. Really, Sean's still wondering about his dad and he eventually asks straight out: does Pete know who is dad is? Pete is sorry but he doesn't have a clue. Later, in the shop, Sean tries to ask Mushtaq about his mum's friends, however Mushtaq is more interested in talking about the football magazines he's buying before his 'date' with Shazia.
Sean also sees Zak in the shop. Zak updates him on the problems between his mum and Kamal: he wishes Khatija would stop making comments because Kamal's getting paranoid.
Later on, Kamal rings Kenny again and this time he doesn't hang up. He wants to see Kenny but can't afford a cab so Kenny offers to send a car over. As soon as Kamal arrives Kenny starts to get him some money out but Kamal hasn't come for cash, he just wants Kenny to know exactly what he thinks of Darren. Kenny warns Kamal there's no way he will win a court case so the best thing he can do for himself is take the money...
