Imran calls Jas just as she's leaving a seminar. He wants them to do something together later on and Jas agrees although she doesn't sound very enthusiastic.
Meanwhile, Jodie visits Simran. Sim wants to know all about Jodie's mystery man but Jodie's dying to see Kesar first. Simran fills Jodie in on the details of his birth and then it's Jodie's turn to 'fess up. Her first meeting with Indraneel was a bit embarrassing: she thought he was spinning her a line when he said he worked for the charity Disti, but then Mani confirmed it really existed! She ended up buying Neel a drink to apologise and the rest is history. Simran asks if they are planning to stick around but Jodie has no idea - they're just enjoying what they've got for now...
Shazia drops in on Mushtaq to see how he's recovering. He's looking well and is pleased to see her - though who knows what Zenab would say! Zenab wants him back at work already. Shazia switches the TV on to watch the football and tells him she's a real fan - well with two boys she can't really avoid it. It's pretty obvious Mushtaq knows nothing about football but Shazia assures him it's never too late to learn...and he can start by watching the FA Cup final with her.
Jas arrives at Imran's for the evening and she's barely through the door when he tells her he's going back to Parkside. Then the doorbell rings and Jas has to hide upstairs while Imran lets Mushtaq in. Mushtaq tells Imran he isn't ready to go back to work and asks him to continue running the family business. Imran doesn't feel he has a choice, so he calls Syed to tell him he won't be going back to the Centre. Even so, he can't quite believe his days at the Centre are over...
