Jodie arrives back in Silver Street after months away in Calcutta ...and she isn't alone. Mani's still in India and Jodie is travelling with her new boyfriend, Indraneel. She points out the sights to him as the taxi drives up Silver Street and then jumps out to go into Brady's News. She walks straight into Imran and immediately notices his suit. Imran starts to tell her about Mushtaq's heart attack but then Khatija rushes out of the shop, dying to know all the gossip, and Jodie makes a quick exit...
Nadia calls Khatija who wastes no time in telling her about Jodie's mystery man. Nadia winds her up by suggesting it could be Jodie's husband and Khatija gets even more excited!
Sway can't believe his eyes when Jodie turns up at the barge. She introduces him to Neel but doesn't have the energy to go into details - she needs sleep! Sway takes that as meaning he needs to leave but Jodie says they'll stay at Mani's for now. Jodie also wants to catch up with Simran and leaves her a message to say she'll be around.
Imran heads towards the Parkside Centre and bumps into Kamal in the park. Kamal asks Imran if he knows anything about Nadia and Sway's friendship and Imran tells Kamal he should ask Nadia himself. At the Centre, Imran's pleased to see Sway busy with preparations for the youth adventure week and the 20 th anniversary Mela.
Nadia takes some food out to Kamal. He's thinking about accepting Kenny's money and Nadia makes him promise not to; Kamal can stay with them as long as he needs. Khatija catches Nadia talking to him and warns her if she keeps running around after Kamal her business will go down the drain...
