Roopa visits Dr Masud whilst Jas waits outside. He tries to make her understand what bulimia is and whether she thinks she has a weight problem. Roopa clearly thinks she's fat but says she's not got a problem as she's tried to lose weight and still can't. Her life is a mess and there's no way she can control it.
Nadia is about to go to Sway's birthday dinner. She feels sorry for Kamal when Khatija says he'll be eating leftovers from the night before so asks him to join her - Sway won't mind. Kamal leaps up to change his shirt.
Kuljit arrives with a crate of beer for Sway's dinner party. Sway says it's a sophisticated do and he wants things to be different this year. Last year, it was a complete washout as people forgot; tonight will be about great food and great company.
Sway is disappointed when Nadia knocks on the door with Kamal. Rachel takes Kamal onto the deck while Sway gets annoyed in the kitchen - why did Kamal have to come, he only made four desserts. The dinner party gets underway and Sway laughs with Nadia about when he gave her driving lessons. Kuljit cracks a joke about the Akhtars and whether they are getting Kamal to mow the lawn yet. At that point Kamal leaves and Nadia has to follow him. Sway angrily clears the plates up whilst Kuljit warns him to steer clear of Nadia, she will break his heart. If she has a thing for Muslim lads like Kamal, he's got no hope. Sway worries that Kamal is taking advantage, pulling at her heart strings to get closer to her, he just wishes it wasn't so hard getting her out of his head.
Nadia races after Kamal who shouts at her: so the reason they could only be friends was because of Sway? It's clear that Sway likes her and from what he's seen, she feels the same about him, she should just admit it.
