At the Parkside Centre, Nadia finds Sway trying to juggle classes as the space is required as a polling station for the elections. She wants to use the computer but offers to help him out first. Nadia teases him and says she bets there's been a rise in the females signing up just so that they can see Sway. Later, she rants to him about the lack of publicity that Kamal's case is getting and Sway offers her escapism for a night by inviting her to his birthday dinner. She happily agrees.
Imran and Jas catch up over coffee and Jas tells him that Roopa now wants her to wait outside when she sees the doctor. He tells her that he's enjoying working on his dad's business; he's in control for the first time in his life. Jas reminds him that Jilani Enterprises has no soul, he did so much great project work at the Parkside Centre and he shouldn't turn his back on the job he loves. Imran explains that he wanted to tell them all where to go but thenn got cold feet. So he may go back, he just doesn't know.
Rozena and Brian share a coffee and Rozena says that Imran has been offered his old job back at the Parkside Centre - so no doubt she will be working in the business again. Brian disagrees, her dad is old fashioned; he'll want his son to head his business. Rozena gets in a huff telling him he doesn't know what he is talking about.
Imran has cooked Jas's favourite meal and as they eat she comments on how there are so many chemicals in candles. Imran is forced to blow the candles out, which spoils the mood. He gives her a book he bought but she's already read it. It is awkward between them but she suggests they go upstairs. Afterwards, they lie in bed but then Jas gets up to leave as she has an assignment to finish off. She apologises and hurries out. Imran is disappointed.
