Sway gets a visit from Syed who is on the Parkside committee. He wants to know how things are going and Sway tells him it is quite busy. Syed says he will talk to the committee about further staffing support but appreciates what Sway is doing despite not having a permanent contract.
Imran calls Jas to say he is cooking something special for but Jas later cancels saying she has to keep an eye on Roopa as Arun has gone out. She tells him how Roopa reacted to the doctor's appointment yesterday and promises to make it up to him. Imran is disappointed but tells her he understands.
Sway is surprised to see Khatija working at the newsagents and suggests he could do with help at the centre. Khatija reckons she has her hands full plus she got lumbered with looking after Kamal too. In her opinion Kamal deserved what he got and the sooner they wash their hands of him the better!
Arun has to organise a live event as part of his music course and wonders if he could do it at the centre. Sway suggests Arun and his friends could volunteer to help with the mela in exchange for doing a music set. He gets his diary out and tells Arun they need to sort out health and safety and fire regulations. Arun grumbles this is going to take forever.
Unknown to Sway, Imran is also getting a visit from Syed. He says Sway is doing a great job at the centre but it's too much to handle on his own. How does Imran feel about coming back to his old job full-time?
