Have your say
Mushtaq is flirting on the phone to Shazia Malik (MP). Mushtaq tells her he's felt much better since her last visit so maybe if she's in the area today she could stop by again? Shazia begins to consult her diary but then Mushtaq hears the front door. Panicked, he makes his excuses and rings off just before Rozena enters the room. Why is he all dressed up?, asks Rozena. Is he expecting someone?
Rozena tells Mushtaq she's planning to stay for a while to look after him but he immediately sees through her - she's only there to avoid living with her in-laws while Sameer is away!
Elsewhere, Mary asks Sean his opinion on a job advert she's writing for the newsagents. He thinks it sounds a bit poncey. Why does she need to advertise for help anyway, isn't he help enough? Mary doesn't want Sean wasting his life away in the pub any more. She wants him back at college, no excuses.
Seeing Mushtaq relaxing in front of Countdown, Rozena can't believe it's her father; isn't he worried about the business? Mushtaq seems content to leave Imran to deal with things, however. In fact he's quite enjoying the rest. Never fear though, there's no way he's retiring yet.
Later, Zak goes to Chunky's with Sean, who seems to have lost his appetite. He's brooding over what Mary said about going back to college and Zak tells him to go for it. If he could he would. Anyway, if Mary's advertising for help it sounds like she's already made her mind up...and it could be the answer to his own problems too: if Khatija took the job she'd be too busy to nag him! Sean still isn't convinced though. He just wishes he knew what to do...
